Re-assemble the distributor and perform final check of proper relationship between rotor, single tooth

target, and sensor pickup. When rotor is aligned with the terminal BEFORE terminal #1 (#2 for Chevy),

the single tooth target should be aligned with the sensor pickup. Continuing to rotate the distributor shaft

to align the rotor with terminal #1 should mean that the single tooth should have rotated past the sensor

pickup.
